I was honored to be asked to lead a rally in Bryant Park launching the DeliverNow for Women and Children campaign. It is a campaign to reduce the number (now over 10 million) of mothers and children dying around the world every year from preventable illnesses. At the end balloons were released in honor of the women and children lost. It was an incredibly moving and powerful experience.

Here’s me outside the Senator Theater in Baltimore. Midwife Mary Knauer organized a benefit screening of BOBB at the Senator, which was totally sold out and amazing. I love any chance I get to visit my second home city of Baltimore, where Hairspray premiered.

This photo was taken just a few hours after we landed in Sydney, although it’s two days later than when we left. Abby and I are trying to stay alert at the Channel 9 Station in between interviews. I have started saying G’day to everyone.

Here’s me and filmmaker Kim Farrant sharing a cheese plate at Icebergs on Bondi Beach. (Yes, I do still eat carbs!) Kim is an incredibly talented director who Abby met at the Zurich Film Festival. Check out her documentary, Naked on the Inside. I thought it was totally brilliant.

I do not have any kids yet but I felt compelled to see the movie and absorb the knowledge for future reference. Witnessing the magnificence of life made me humble and gave me even greater appreciation for women in general and all mothers specifically." Awww....what a sweetie
