A Viewer Responds #12

I was the “victim” of what I believed to be an unnecessary C-section. Yes, my doctor convinced me that it was best for me and child even when I fought against it. Nonetheless, I had a beautiful little girl but I still mourn the way she was brought into the world…not vaginally. From video clips of your movie these mothers give birth naturally and I envy them even though my first born was a vaginal birth.I was made aware of VBAC and I would like to know if any of the women in your documentary had a VBAC because this will give me hope of given birth the “natural” way, and with the assistance of a Midwife…if I were to be pregnant the third time. Right now I feel like my childbearing days would be limited or unpleasant, because the medical sector has convinced me, “once a cesarean always a cesarean.”
