Hello Abby and Ricki,

My husband and I watched your documentary last night and loved it. I wish I had seen this film before I had my son Liam. Like you Ricki, I would say that the my birth experience was rather traumatic and left me feeling like a complete failure. I had a CNM who I saw twice for only about 15 minutes in the hospital, which is not how we thought things were to go. Anyway, I could carry on but won’t. After watching this documentary, I am certain we will do things a different way, our way, next time around. I am happy to have the clarity and resolve to know that I will choose a home birth for my second child. Thank you both for putting this together and sharing what you have learned through personal experience and extensive research. My heart swells with possibility.
